Well,
The beginning of July I went with some friends to see Chicago and the Denver Orchestra play at Red Rocks. It was one of the BEST concerts I have ever been to!!! Having the Orchestra there was incredible, but Chicago sounded fantastic on their own. Very full and rich. They looked great, sounded amazing, and had such an easy-going connection and vibe on stage. It was over the top!!!
We went to the Renaissance Festival for the first time in years. I had forgotten how much fun it is!! I was talking to one of the vendors and was told that Colorado is the 2nd largest Festival in the US. Texas is #1. Everything is BIGGER in Texas. We will definitely be going again next year!!
Have been out on several mushroom forays in the mtns and locally. Helped a friend move and get organized. That was a heck of a challenge. … Hopefully we can wrap it up tomorrow.

One question,… I know that the past is past, and with your new site things are moving on and all,… but you used to have a picture on the old site, mostly naked by a water fountain or somewhat,.. that I just love! Is it in the member’s section here?

RR is one of my all time favorite venues!!! Fortunately its right around the corner from me, so I can enjoy it any time I want.
Hmmmm there is one that comes to mind, am I laying down on my side with a water fall behind me? If it is this one I don’t think it’s made it up yet. Let me know if that sounds familiar?

I went to a RenFair when I was 15.
It had an authentic aroma.
The place smelled like horse poop and burning hay.
LOL!!! Well you can’t get any more authentic then that…eeee gad!! Prob why you haven’t been back!?

Sure sounds like you’ve been busy, busy, busy! I’m good with helping people move, but the re-organization… that’s a different story. I AM good at loading/unloading stuff, though. LOL I feel for ya there!
Never been to a Renaissance festival… gotta try that one of these days. Dunno if I’ll dress appropriately, though.
Finally (firstly?), I am still jealous of the Chicago concert, especially after someone at work hyped Red Rocks. 🙁 However, I bet you didn’t spend a weekend listening to KC and the Sunshine Band and Bob Dylan perform live (not at the same concert, that would have been a train wreck!). Disco and Dylan… ahh. 🙂

Hmmm how about you do the moving and I’ll do the organizing, I think we would make a good team!! LOL, I don’t dress up..too many clothes in 90 degree heat…to many clothes period!! Everyone has to experience a RenFair at least once in a life time.
