Happy New Year!!!

I hope 2012 is off to a Great start for everyone!!!

For me the New Year means a fresh start … assessing where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and where I want to go. In my reflections  I’ve realized that since my move back to Colorado  I have thrown myself  into taking care of those around me, which is one of the reasons I came home. My family needed me and I them!!! At that point in my life I was ready for a reboot, and taking care of others was what I needed at that time.  So here we are 6 yrs later. Everyone is Happy, Healthy, and doing Great!!!! So for the 1st time in quite awhile I’m going into a new year without anyone to really worry about but myself. Through this journey, I’ve learned a lot from the people around me and the experiences I’ve had. I know these lessons will guide me and will give me strength for my next chapter.

I hope this year brings you Happiness – Health – Peace – Prosperity, and when things get tough, a light to guide you!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Fall!

We were very busy on the Message Board this month! Here are some of the things my fans and friends and I were talking about:

Two of my fans found some great Shayla merchandise on Ebay that even I didn’t know about. There was a pair of boots signed by me and tons of other porn stars. The boots were going for $595! (That is sooooo cool!! Wish I would have thought of that!!) Also a Shock and Latex soundtrack on CD!

We talked about the strangest things I’ve signed for fans. (Boots are right up there!) I’ve signed baseballs, and a butt, and a boob. How about a Real Doll and dildos!

I was caught on film wearing the same outfit three different times. The way I see it, if you find an outfit you like, enjoy it more than once. I know that’s generally a no no when you are “in the biz” and have been photographed in it … but I don’t always do what I’m supposed to!!! ;))

And we talked about being Hot for Teacher! I think we all have had fantasies about a teacher along the way. I loved going to typing class. My teacher had been a Playboy centerfold and was so sexy!!

A Brief Highlight…

Well,

The beginning of July I went with some friends to see Chicago and the Denver Orchestra play at Red Rocks.  It was one of the BEST concerts I have ever been to!!!  Having the Orchestra there was incredible, but Chicago sounded fantastic on their own. Very full and rich.  They looked great, sounded amazing, and had such an easy-going connection and vibe on stage. It was over the top!!!

We went to the Renaissance Festival for the first time in years.  I had forgotten how much fun it is!! I was talking to one of the vendors and was told that Colorado is the 2nd largest Festival in the US.  Texas is #1. Everything is BIGGER in Texas.   We will definitely be going again next year!!

Have been out on several mushroom forays in the mtns and locally.  Helped a friend move and get organized. That was a heck of a challenge. … Hopefully we can wrap it up tomorrow.

Welp,

Sorry I’ve been lagging on the Blog. …  Just been plugging away on various things … that are quite boring for a blog.

My Aunt had her 3rd back surgery 2 weeks ago and she is staying with me, so I’ve been pretty busy with that … doctor appts. … emergency room visits, etc.    To top it off,  my mom had a horrible bout of food poisoning last week. Right now my working title is Nurse Jackie or Nurse Betty.

Friday  fun day, my cousins and I had been planning a ski trip for over a month.  The weather wasn’t looking great,  but we decided to risk it.  The weather was beautiful in Denver, but once we got up to Loveland pass it was horrible!!!  A traffic jam – 6 accidents, the tunnel was closed, and there were 30 – 40 mph winds on the mtn.   Darn!!!!  We rescheduled for April;  hopefully there’s still some good powder!

Went to court today for my accident,  my lawyer got it reduced to 2 pts, defective vehicle and a $225 fine.  Whew!!!  Glad that’s over!!!!

Next Tuesday I’m off to Delaware,  to my home away from home.  I usually go out there every few months to visit my dearest friends.  This time around I will be hosting a fundraiser on St Patty’s Day for Pitbulls and Cystic Fibrosis.  My girlfriend’s Godson has Cystic Fibrosis, and she is a strong advocate for Pitbulls.  She has 6 rescues and they are the most amazing animals!!!!   Saturday  is the annual house party. ….  Dancers – open minded couples – a fully stocked bar and tons of food. It doesn’t get any better then that!!!!!  Monday is my girl’s 40th B-day and her husband ordered 2 huge lobsters! YUMMMOOO!!!  I will be sure to take some pics to share with all of  you!!!
